Hello! So you’re probably wondering who this person is that took the time to put words on “paper” and share them out in the world. I’ve spent years working in IT and now spend most of my days editing text files that make the Internet work. When I was 12, my mother put a copy of Nine Princes in Amber into my hands at the same time friends at school introduced me to the Prydain Chronicles. Between those two (and being introduced to Dungeons and Dragons), that led to a life long love of fantasy literature and a desire to add to the sphere of stories that filled it. In the mid-90s, I published a couple of short stories in a small press magazine called Journal of the Dark. Writing a novel remained a distant goal because I’d get lost in the process. Finally in 2023, I used my innate competitiveness to get myself to the finish line by having an accountability partner and racing to keep my word count ahead of that of a friend who was working on finishing the third novel of his current series (Dan Jolley for the curious). The result is what’s currently called the Sanctuary Lock.

Now we’re at the ‘I want to get this published’ side of the road along with outlining out the next Diamond Imperium book as well as looping back around to an Urban Fantasy/Horror novel that’s been kicking around in my head since I had those short stories published almost 30 years ago. Hopefully you’ll find your way to what I’ve written, enjoy it, and come back for more.
